            Protest Decision 2017 ESD 366, issued on January 13, 2017, addressed a protest by Frank Halstead, a member of Local Union 572, alleging that UPS dismissed from employment three members of Local Union 572 in retaliation for their protected activity under the rules. On January 18, 2017, counsel for the protestor filed an appeal of ESD 366.  By Notice of Hearing sent to all identified Interested Parties, a telephonic hearing was scheduled for January 27, 2017.  On January 23, 2017, counsel for the Protestor-appellant submitted in writing a request to withdraw the appeal.

The Protestor having submitted in writing an application to withdraw his appeal of ESD 366, and having heard no objection from any party, the application is hereby GRANTED, and the appeal is deemed WITHDRAWN.
